Willow Lake General Meeting June 15, 2005
The meeting was called to order by President Joe Serafini at 7:12 pm. eleven members present and five proxies. Members present were introduced.
Minutes of the September 2004 meeting were read with a correction that either your name or your lot number need to be on your boat it is not necessary to have both as previously stated.
Fish report. A fish count has not been done yet this year, as Larry has not been able to contact the person who is to do it this year. With the winterkill, there are an estimated 20 grass carp left. Water quality is not being done this year, as no one willing to commit to this job. It needs to be done bi-weekly and requires about an hour if anyone is interested Larry will train.
Mowing is going well again? Special thanks to Larry, Wayne, and Roger for there mowing of the extra lots. Larry will haul off the remains of the burn pile.
The annual dam inspection was done and Martin Oakes filled a report. Again references were made to "seepage ". Also noted as a leak in the drop inlet tube which needs minor repair The stream bed has some trees/branches that need removing. a work party needed for the branch removal, maybe a Saturday morning. Dredging was a discussed and will remain in the budget 2005 budget. Martin will measure the depth/level of fill which will determine if dredging is needed.
Rip rap will need to be reinforced but is not an immediate need.
Treasures report. Most lots are current with there dues. The bank note should be paid off in September? at the latest December. The exact date depends on due collection. Please pay ahead if possible. Jim Kleindl was asked to perform the audit he will find someone to assist him. (If you are interested, give Jim a call).
Lot owner's appreciation picnic is scheduled for August 20th. With a rain date of the 27th.
The fall meeting is currently scheduled for September 28 and includes the election of officers. Any persons interested please contact an officer or board member.
Weed cutter has been sold for $750 the extra trailer donated to Demisters.
