The Catchment Pond.

Every one or two years the catchment pond at the north end of the lake is dredged to reomve silt wich would otherwise wash into the lake.
This work is performed with a large reach back-hoe.
The pond has been mapped to establish its depth .

We had planned to dredge in 2009, but the timing for Fischer and weathe did not co-operate. We will try again in 2010.
