CONSTITUTION OF THE WILLOW LAKE ASSOCIATION, INC.
NORTHERN HILLS SUBDIVISION
FREEPORT, ILLINOIS

ARTICLE I (Name)

This organization shall be known as "Willow Lake Association, Inc."

ARTICLE II (Object)

The object of Willow Lake Association, Inc., hereafter referred to as Association, is to secure cooperative action of the majority of lake frontage property owners to maintain and improve the lake, dam and catchment pond.

ARTICLE III (By-laws)

The By-laws of the Association shall not conflict with federal, state or local laws and shall describe the powers and the functions of the Board of Directors; membership and meeting requirements; the manner for electing officers; the powers and duties of such officers; and shall govern all activities of the Association.

ARTICLE IV (Amendments)

Proposed amendments to the constitution shall be signed by at least three (3) regular members and presented to the Association membership at least twenty (20) days before the meeting in which they are to be voted on. A proposed amendment shall be presented on the floor of a membership meeting by one of its sponsors. If two-thirds of the votes of all members present and voting at such meeting are in favor of any amendment, it shall be declared adopted.
